She provides poultry nutrition research support to customers and helps direct the company’s poultry nutrition research for these areas
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Jan. 09, 2019 – Zinpro Corporation announces that Cibele Araujo Torres, Ph.D., has been named poultry research nutritionist for Europe, Russia, South Africa, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). In this role, Dr. Torres provides customers in these key poultry production regions with research support and helps to direct and coordinate the company’s poultry research and development activities for the European, Russian, South African and MENA sales territories.

Dr. Torres earned her doctoral degree in animal science from the University of Alberta, Canada. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine and her master’s degree in animal science from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil. She also holds a patent for a method to feed hatchling chickens as they are being transported.
Immediately prior to joining Zinpro Corporation, Dr. Torres worked as a poultry nutrition researcher at a global animal nutrition company. She had also previously worked as a broiler management junior technical supervisor at a Brazilian pork and poultry production integration company. In this new role for Zinpro, she will be based in Spain.
